I used several different methods and a very limited palette of earthy tones to achieve a semi-abstract background and the effect of the harsh thorny scrub on the African savannah.

This charming original giraffe watercolour painting will be presented bevel mounted in white and framed in a flat, natural ash frame ready to hang.

I have created a small series of these tall narrow paintings which are ideal to hang in an awkward narrow space or, if several are hung together, they can fill a large wall space perfectly.
