Approaching Menace

'Approaching Menace' is a large, original watercolour painting in an impressionistic style, using Daniel Smith paints on the Royal Watercolour Society's own brand paper. I have textured areas of the paper in the foreground with Daniel Smith's white ground and have also added a few touches of Daniel Smith bronze metalic iridescent paint in the background. This dramatic painting depicts a young bull African elephant approaching through clouds of dust and debris, and he obviously means business.

Measuring approximately 15 x 21 inches, this painting is presented in a white mount within a distressed silver gilt frame to a total size of about  22 x 28.5 inches, ready to hang. It is signed on the front and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
