The Clash.
The Clash
Drawn with graphite pencils onto Bristol board, there is just a hint of colour in this too, created with graphitint pencils. Zebra stallions are often seen fighting in the wild, usually to gain dominance in the herd. I have also been told that they sometimes will try to bite the leg tendons of another zebra to cripple it, meaning it will be more vulnerable to predators and thus help the dominant zebra's survival. Harsh but necessary to ensure the survival of the fittest.
This dramatic piece will be presented double mounted in a textured off white over damson.
