The Little Big Man

A newly born giraffe calf, resting in the grass, taking in the view. I've painted this little fellow in watercolour and finished the foreground with acrylic paint. Using the rich, hot colours of the African savannah, I think they are effective in portraying the relentless heat and strong light of an african spring. It will be supplied mounted in a textured white and framed in a flat natural ash, ready to hang.
