I'm not sure if 'A Fleeting Visit' should be labelled a still life or wildlife painting, but here we have a string of onions hung up to dry with the addition of a robin seemingly just taken flight after searching for an insect or two.
Using lots of layers of rich golden hues, I've concentrated on the contrast between light and shadows in this watercolour painting using my Daniel Smith paints.
Measuring 9.75 x 15.75 inches, it has been mounted in white and framed in a luxuriously chunky, 1.5 inch deep, brushed pale gold fronted frame with grey sides. A perfect match.
