'Rodeo' is a lively and expressionistic watercolour painting of a cowgirl, rodeo rider galloping full speed in the arena during a barrel race. I've painted quickly and loosely, using my Daniel Smith watercolours with a small amount of ink over a freehand pencil sketch. A fairly small, Western genre piece which is packed with life and movement.
